Why Daisy's Guide?

The toddler years don't leave time to talk things over. Decisions come at you fast, and whoever's holding the toddler makes the call. Discipline, potty training, screens, what to do when your toddler only wants one of you. Most of it gets settled mid-meltdown, usually in the checkout line.

Daisy's Guide to Toddlers is 43 conversations for the two of you to have before the moment hits, so you make those calls as a team instead of finding out you disagree in public.

Pick your format

  • Both formats hold the same 43 conversations, covering ages 1 to 3.
  • The paperback is for reading together. Each chapter gives you Dr. Daisy's take on what actually matters at this age, and what you can stop worrying about.
  • The coil-bound workbook edition is for deciding together. Every topic gives you both room to write down where you stand, side by side, with space at the end for what you agreed. It lies flat, so you can both work in it at once.

Created by a mother-daughter duo:

  • Dr. Benazir "Daisy" Drabu, MD, a pediatrician with over 20 years of experience, Associate Professor and Medical Director of the Mother-Baby Unit at Oklahoma Children's Hospital
  • Her daughter Esha, a toddler mom herself

No lectures, no one-size-fits-all rules. Your toddler will test every boundary you set. This way, you two set them together.

  • Two formats, same 43 conversations: Paperback to read together, Coil Workbook to decide together
  • Paperback: 198 pages, one chapter per conversation
  • Coil Workbook: 276 pages, lies flat, with room on every topic for both of you to write where you stand
  • Covers ages 1 to 3: discipline, potty training, sleep, screens, preschool, big feelings, and the ones you haven't thought of yet
  • Written by a pediatrician with over 20 years of experience, and her daughter, a toddler mom
  • Trusted by thousands of parents
  • Happiness Guaranteed: Backed by a 30 day money-back guarantee
  • Make the call as a team, before the moment hits
  • Stop finding out you disagree in the checkout line
  • Set the boundaries together, before your toddler tests them

meet Daisy

Hello, I’m Daisy!

I’ve been a pediatrician for more than 20 years, and I’m Medical Director of the Mother-Baby Unit at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital, where families spend their first days with a new baby. I’ve seen which conversations parents wish they’d had sooner.

When my first grandchild was born, my daughter Esha had so many questions. She knew her younger sister would have the same ones someday, so we started writing everything down. That’s how Daisy’s Guide began.
