Major value-add as first-time parents - helped us identify things we needed to be thinking about and planning for (like health insurance for the baby!), and feel more prepared where possible so we could prevent unnecessary stress/scrambling down the line. Also gives really helpful information on each topic for thinking through each piece. It's kind of like Fair Play for couples meets What to Expect When You're Expecting - gives good scaffolding for communicating as a couple AND baby planning.
This is the best book for soon to be parents, I would highly, highly recommend. This book was such an amazing resource to consolidate all the things you need to know (even things you didn’t realize you need to know!). It’s also just a really fun way to connect with your partner and make sure you’re on the same page about really important topics before your little baby arrives! Haven’t come across anything nearly as helpful
A confidence boosting resource for all prospective and current parents, grandparents and everyone in between. An A to Z of practical information. A must read!
I've just received and started browsing the book (it looks like an excellent resource i look forward to delving into), but 5 stars have more than been earned by the team at Daisy's guide for getting the book to me. After USPS lost my order they sent a replacement free of charge via Amazon shipping. Thank you so much!
As a mom, I really appreciated how this guide got my partner and me talking about things we hadn’t even thought to discuss before the baby arrived. The prompts are simple but bring up really important decisions, and writing them down helped us stay on the same page. I also liked having links to extra resources that I could trust. It doesn’t try to overwhelm you with too much information, just what you actually need to feel ready. It made preparing for our baby less stressful and gave us more confidence as new parents.
